Nashik, August 2025:

In a remarkable celebration of art, literature, and culture, the National Urdu School, Nashik, hosted a two-day Urdu Literary Art Exhibition on August 15 and 16, 2025. The initiative, organized under the banner of the Youth Education C Welfare Society (YEWS), aimed to inspire the younger generation with the richness of Urdu poetry, painting, and calligraphy while preserving the essence of a language deeply woven into India’s cultural fabric.

Honoring the Legacy of Urdu Poetry

The exhibition brought alive the works of some of the greatest Urdu poets, including Ahmed Raza Khan, Mir Taqi Mir, Mirza Ghalib, Allama Iqbal, and Bahadur Shah Zafar. Each selected verse was not only displayed but also artistically interpreted through paintings and rare calligraphic works, bridging literature with visual art. Visitors described the experience as stepping into a space where words turned into colors and poetry blossomed into artistic expression.
