This is not merely a case of student protests or dictatorship; it is a systematic genocide orchestrated by the Islamist vigilantes. The government’s silence and inaction have only exacerbated the situation, allowing the perpetrators to roam free and mete out their twisted brand of justice. The targeting of Hindu intellectuals and professionals is a deliberate attempt to dismantle the community’s social fabric and cultural identity.

The forced resignation of Professor Sonali Rani Das and other Hindu academics is a chilling precursor to the annihilation of Hindus in Bangladesh. The Islamist mafia’s tactics are reminiscent of the darkest days of human history, where minorities were systematically targeted and eliminated. The international community must take cognizance of this unfolding humanitarian crisis and act swiftly to prevent further atrocities.
