Solar Drying Initiative Empowers FPO and Chikoo Farmers in Bordi, Maharashtra

Bordi, Maharashtra – A Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) in Bordi, Maharashtra, has strengthened farmer livelihoods and reduced post-harvest losses through the adoption of a solar drying solution provided by Rudra Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd.

The FPO is using a Rudra Solar Dryer to process chikoo (sapota), a highly perishable fruit prone to wastage and price volatility during peak harvest seasons.
